Empathizing with the under-privileged

All initiatives of Satyam Foundation—the CSR arm of Satyam—identify, understand and empathize with needs of the under-privileged and alleviate suffering with an active, all-inclusive agenda. It is an outcome-oriented approach that ensures results.

Identifying children as the basic resource for any economy, Satyam Foundation works with various street children homes and Government schools, facilitating education, mentoring, equipping them to merge into the mainstream with right knowledge.

Livelihood support for the youth is very essential as it determines career development. The foundation trains youth in IT skills and soft skills to make them more resourceful and useful.

Understanding the importance of health, the Foundation provides access to the right medical resources through technology by reaching out to vulnerable underprivileged communities.

By organizing medical camps, blood donation camps and services of 104 HMRI, the Foundation has assumed a lead role in sensitizing public on both HIV/AIDS and environment issues.
