The Client planned to migrate its Oracle Applications
Release 10.7 (Financials, Manufacturing, HRMS) to a more efficient and
effective plan.
Challenges
The project goal was to provide onsite and
offshore support to users of GE Medicals located around the globe. This
included functional and technical support in Financials and Manufacturing
modules of Oracle Applications R11i. Also included were the issues coming
up in new roll over sites across the globe and troubleshooting of the
interfaces already developed by the Client and their enhancements.
Our Approach
The Client intended to have 24x7 production support. To achieve
this, support was provided from both off-shore and onsite

from different legacy systems to Oracle Applications
"In-House
Developed Products" such as PREPRO (This tool transfers
data from legacy systems to Oracle Applications), FADB (After having
placed data in PREPRO, procedures were executed using a third party
tool to update the balances in Oracle Applications) & INVENTORY
IN PROCESS 2000 (IIP2000, The process of this module was meant for
importing the sales order details, amount received or sales output
for the sales order and to create the reserve/balance to be received.)
