Satyam offers different training for different roles within an organization. The programs we offer are:

Six Sigma Executive Overview (one day)

This course is designed for the executives (CEOs, presidents, vice presidents, senior managers, and Board Members), who would like to understand Six Sigma methods and learn how they can improve the organization’s bottom line.

Six Sigma Executive Overview enables participants to:

  • Understand the Six Sigma philosophy and methodology
  • Understand the impact of Six Sigma on the organization's bottom line
  • Define a Six Sigma Deployment strategy
  • Understand the critical roles and responsibilities in Six Sigma Deployment
  • Manage cultural/organizational change

Six Sigma Champion Training (one day)  

This course is designed for senior and middle management—people who drive Six Sigma implementation in an organization. Champions are generally functional heads who take up Six Sigma projects in their respective functions to achieve business and operational objectives.  

Six Sigma Champion Training enables participants to:

  • Understand the concepts of Six Sigma
  • Understand and appreciate the application of Six Sigma for process/product/service improvements
  • Know the roles and responsibilities of a Six Sigma champion
  • Know the various methodologies of Six Sigma
  • Perform an effective project selection with the help of Six Sigma tools and methodology
  • Perform an effective project review
  • Manage cultural/organizational change

Six Sigma Black Belt Training (four weeks spread across four months)

Six Sigma Black Belts are full-time Six Sigma professionals who lead Six Sigma projects and mentor Green Belt projects. Black Belt Training enables participants to:

  • Learn the Six Sigma DMAIC problem-solving methodology in detail
  • Learn to apply right statistical tools
  • Learn to use Minitab statistical analysis software
  • Manage cultural/organizational change
  • Learn to do project management

The course consists of four five-day sessions, conducted over four months. Each participant is expected to identify and share a project during Back Belt Training.

Six Sigma Green Belt Training (two weeks spread across two months)

Six Sigma Green Belts are trained on Six Sigma methodologies and work on quality improvement projects as part of their full-time job. Green Belt Training enables participants to:

  • Learn the Six Sigma DMAIC problem-solving methodology
  • Learn to apply right statistical tools
  • Learn to use Minitab statistical analysis software
  • Learn to do Project Management

Green Belt Training includes two five-day sessions. After the first session, Green Belts are expected to apply the lessons at current projects, and then attend the second session after a month or so.

Employee Awareness (Half Day)

Successful Six Sigma implementations require an adoption of the culture throughout the organization, with awareness and buy-in from all employees. This half-day session introduces employees to the world of Six Sigma.

By the end of the session, participants understand:

  • What is Six Sigma?
  • The need for Six Sigma
  • Six Sigma origin
  • Benefits of Six Sigma
  • Six Sigma methodologies
