Satyam is hosting
Bill Inmon, the Father of Data Warehousing, in a workshop on
`Maximizing ROI from Business Intelligence Initiatives’on Wednesday,
20th June 2007 at Park Lane Hotel, London.
Though there is no question that data warehousing requires
an investment, the real issue for organizations is whether
or not the investment is worth it. More often than not, the
success of Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing (BI & DW)
implementation hinges on being able to demonstrate adequate
business value. While the costs of implementing BI & DW
solutions are easily quantifiable, the benefits of BI Initiatives
are not necessarily so evident.
Bill Inmon will discuss the “cost of information”approach
to understanding the value of data warehousing and further
discuss on approaches to maximizing ROI from BI initiatives.
Further, there will be a panel discussion involving leaders
from top organizations on the topic of “Return
On Investments from BI Initiatives”.
